iPad: Everyone can code 14/05/2019 9:00 am to 14/05/2019 12:00 pm

This half day course will include training on a range of coding apps and LGfL resources and how they can be used to support the teaching of the discrete computing curriculum within your school and how technology can transform learning throughout your school by using computing skills in creative ways.

This course is designed to introduce a range of coding apps to support the computer science strand of the 2014 computing curriculum.

You will learn to support your students to build and debug algorithms. You will be able to develop your logical reasoning through creating opportunities to make predictions on how programs behave.

You will have a good understanding on what algorithms are and how they are used in everyday life. You will learn how to record the steps of an algorithm and refer to it as you are programming.

You will have the opportunity to see how computer science can be deployed in a fun and cross-curricular way using a range of tools and devices and using the Everyone can Code series of computing projects.
